Sweet Treats and Backbeats…
Howard proposed to Jenna on the shores of Hawaii with a seashell “Marry Me” sign and a flawless diamond engagement ring, because as he told Jenna, “You are flawless”. They wed at Laguna Presbyterian Church in Laguna Beach, reciting personally written vows and lighting the unity candle as a symbol of their marriage. The wedding reception at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, boasted a color palette of pink, red, peach, and white, and featured an array of entertainment. During cocktail hour guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, and posed with props to receive a photo magnet wedding favor from MK Magnets. The escort card table showcased the wedding proposal in Hawaii, including a portrait of the couple on the beach and the handmade seashell “Marry Me” sign that Howard had displayed in the sand during the wedding proposal. Reception entertainment kicked off with a Lion Performance, featuring costumed performers dancing to the sounds of live drums and cymbals. A highlight of the reception was a performance by The Backbeats, an A Capella group that made its debut on NBC’s show “The Sing Off”. The group performed love songs and pop songs, captivating guests with their powerful vocal talents. Culinary treats of the evening featured Szechuan Pepper Crusted Filet Mignon, Parmesan Crusted Pacific Chilean Sea Bass, and a dazzling dessert display of cupcakes, macaroons, and cake pops. DJ Peter from Vive Entertainment spun tunes as guests celebrated by dancing the night away.
